The first athletic event featuring the McDowell Trojans in 2026-27 is complete with the boys’ and girls’ golf teams competing at the Happy Valley Invitational at the Penn State Golf Courses in State College.
The girls’ team finished eighth with the team leader Bella Deaton carding a 91.
On the boys’ side, Will Herron had a team-best score of 74 and the team took 21st.
