2026 Fall Sports Registration
Registration for 2026 Fall Sports opens on Monday, July 6 and closes Monday, August 3. Heat acclimation week for high-school level football (grades 9-12) and the first official date of golf season is Monday, August 10. Heat acclimation for middle school football (grades 7-8) and the first date for all other Fall sports is Monday, August 17.

During registration windows, the McDowell athletic offices has an influx of paperwork and information to process and may not be able to answer every form of communication right away. If you do send our office an email or leave a voicemail asking about registration, we will get back to you in as timely a manner as possible within our office hours. Thank you for your understanding.
Arbiter Sports Registration
Student-athletes must be registered through Arbiter Sports in order to participate.

Registration Documents Needed
In addition to registering on Arbiter Sports, there are medical documents that must be turned into the athletic office prior to the official start date of a season in order for a student-athlete to participate. Links to these documents are provided below and can be submitted the following ways:
- Scanned and emailed to the athletic office – athletics@mtsd.org (EASIEST AND PREFERRED METHOD)
- Delivered to the McDowell athletic office, located on the west end of McDowell High School next to Paul Goll Memorial Gymnasium. **With renovations occurring at the high school in the summer of 2026, the athletic office will be moved temporarily to the library of the McDowell High School North building starting June 12.

Section 5 – Health History Form
- Must be filled out by parent or guardian.
Section 6 – Physical Form
- Physical must be dated May 1, 2026 or later. You may visit your family doctor or any urgent care to have a physical completed.
Section 7 – Physical Re-certification Form
- NOT REQUIRED FOR FALL SPORTS. Will be required to re-certify a physical for the Winter or Spring sports seasons. This form is filled out by a parent or guardian.
Section 8 – Doctor Re-certification Form
- If you check “yes” to any of the Supplemental Health History questions on physical recertification form, you must get this form completed and signed by a licensed physician.
Remote SWAY Concussion Testing 2026-27
- If registering for a sport that requires a concussion test this remote test must be completed. It can be completed at home on a smart phone through the SWAY Medical App.
Millcreek Township School District requires that all participants in interscholastic athletics/activities have health insurance. Plans are available through MTSD if needed.
