High school athletic events are an exciting and meaningful experience worth preserving, and we are happy to have students, faculty, staff, and their families – as well as community members – attend and photograph athletic events with the understanding that the images are intended for personal use only and not for any commercial use, general distribution and/or sale. Admission to spectator areas at athletics events assumes compliance with this policy.
Still and video photography from any area other than spectator seating requires approval from the McDowell athletic office and those approved will receive an official sideline pass. This includes staff hired by teams and individual families. There is limited space within McDowell facilities for photographers monitored by McDowell athletic staff and McDowell athletics reserves the right to place further restrictions on access to athletic facilities and events when necessary for the safety and security of the Millcreek community and to ensure enjoyment of events by other fans/spectators.
Photo pass requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be made to the McDowell athletic office no later than 48 hours prior to the event. Requests can be made here:Â Photography Pass Application. If approved, a credential will be created and can be obtained at the entrance to the event. Issued on an event-by-event basis, passes may be revoked at any time by McDowell Athletics.
